Official Dampak Kebakaran UPS di IDC Duren Tiga Terhadap IDWS

Dear,

Seperti yang sudah diketahui, kemarin sore ada musibah yang menimpa data center kita di IDC Duren Tiga (baca KOMPAS). Salah satu prosedur preventive yang dilakukan oleh pihak IDC agar kerusakan tidak melebar adalah dengan mematikan aliran listrik pada hari Minggu, 8/13/2012 pukul 18:50, yang berakibat semua server kita mati tidak secara graceful (tanpa shutdown). Akibatnya beberapa data ada yang corrupted dan hilang, seperti thread, post, files. Beberapa server juga belum 100% restored, sehingga mungkin kalian akan mengalami kendala dalam mengakses baik forum atau pun portal IDWS.

Staff kami sampai saat ini masih berusaha keras mengembalikan semuanya seperti sedia kala. Masalah data hilang ini masih akan kami investigasi dalam 24 jam ini terhitung setelah server menyala, namun kami tidak dapat menjamin 100% data-data yg sudah hilang tersebut dapat dikembalikan.

Sejauh ini sepertinya no hope untuk restore thread-thread yang hilang.
Nanti kita coba lihat perkembangan investigasi lanjutan, tapi sepertinya tidak akan berbeda jauh.

Dear,

Karena kebakaran yang terjadi di IDC kemarin, launching date untuk new indowebster diundur. Masih ada mesin development yang sampai sekarang statusnya offline karena dampak kebakaran kemarin, sehingga efektifitas development terganggu, dan terpotong libur kemerdekaan RI dan lebaran, maka launching date menjadi tanggal 23 Agustus.

Dear,

Malam ini akan ada maintenance pada 12AM, kami akan coba sekali lagi untuk restore thread-thread yang hilang. Kami tidak bisa menjanjikan thread-thread tersebut akan kembali, tapi kami akan berusaha maksimal, dan seandainya thread tersebut berhasil dikembalikan, kami juga tidak menjamin isi thread tersebut akan kembali 100%.

Kepada seluruh member IDWS, apabila menemukan thread yang hilang, harap segera melaporkan URL/link dari thread tersebut ke moderator masing-masing wilayah. Laporan thread hilang yang akan diproses hanyalah thread yang memiliki URL/link, kalau cuma nama saja, tidak akan kami proses. Kami juga akan melakukan prioritas restorasi, thread-thread yang kami anggap penting dan besar akan diprioritaskan terlebih dahulu.

Apabila restoration malam ini gagal, maka thread-thread tersebut tidak ada chance untuk bisa dikembalikan.

Hasil maintenance semalam:
- Beberapa thread restorable
- Beberapa thread unrestorable, kemungkinan didelete oleh mod, atau memang damaged

Akan ada maintenance kedua utk full restore malam ini di waktu yang sama (12AM).

Bagi yang masih menemukan thread-thread yang hilang, saya perpanjang sampai jam 12 malam ini untuk dilaporakan ke moderator masing-masing wilayah.
